Family Day 2025

Solebury Friends Meeting Family Day: All Are Welcome!
Solebury Friends Meeting invites you to our Family Day on Sunday, June
8, 2025.

If you wish to join us for Meeting for Worship, we gather at 10 a.m. All are
welcome.

At 11 a.m., after a few announcements and a hymn, we’ll go outside for
Food, Fun, and Fellowship. (In case of rain, we’ll move inside).
We’ll enjoy hot dogs and beverages supplied by the Meeting along with
side dishes and desserts provided by attenders. There will be activities for
children and bigger people alike. And of course we’ll enjoy each other’s
company, whether you are a long-time member of our Quaker meeting, a
casual attender, or a person brand-new to our faith community.
This year we will add a “Trading Blanket” to the day – a Lenape tradition
that we recently learned about from Chief Barbara Bluejay. Bring an object
that you no longer want and place it on the blanket. At noon all who
brought an object will be welcome to take an object. It will be fun to see
what treasures are brought and what treasures are taken!
Please join us at our beautiful historic meetinghouse at 2680 Sugan Road,
New Hope PA. We look forward to seeing you.
