Another Dinner with Friends took place on Sunday, November 2, with thirty (30) friends and neighbors participating. We were joined by both members of St Philips and Trinity Churches in providing fellowship, prayer and a scrumptious ham dinner. Patsy Tinsman and Dick Wallace lead the group in a Quaker style moment of silent worship and warm greetings. Other members of Trinity Church cooked the enormous ham and provided many home made side dishes.
Solebury Friends Meeting was invited to join the group as sponsors with St Phillips and Trinity Churches, forming a triumvirate of houses of worship. Our members can simply arrive at 2pm for set up and expect to be finished by 5 pm. Side dishes and desserts are welcome.
This event is a wonderful way to connect with our community through your taste buds, worship and conversation. It is a simple and quick turn turn around meal.
